Alumni Update

Student/Partner Alliance is very interested in all of our graduates.  Often, we feature our graduates' successes on our website and in our quarterly newsletter.  Of course, we sincerely hope that our graduates will return to the program and help provide a quality education to another deserving student.

Alumni News

Takia Ruff, who graduated from St. Vincent Academy in 2004 has spent this summer working in the Student/Partner Alliance office.  Pictured here, hard at work, Takia has been performing the many administrative tasks that keep the program running smoothly.  She was a tremendous asset to the office staff this summer.   Takia is a sophomore at Douglass College of Rutgers University.  She plans to major in nursing.  Takia  was sponsored by Emmett and Regina Daly, and she has remained in contact with them since graduation.  

Suzelyne Luma wrote a beautiful letter updating us on her activities since graduating from Marylawn of the Oranges in 2002.  Entering her senior year at Caldwell College, Suzelyne is a Sociology major, and her plans include pursuing a master's degree  in Social Work after graduation.  This summer, Suzelyne worked as a camp counselor at the daycare center she attended as a child.  She expressed her gratitude to Student/Partner Alliance for making it possible to receive such a solid education and to her partner for making a four year commitment to helping provide the opportunity.
